Happy Thanksgiving.! Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays.  It is the holiday that leads us into the Christmas season.  The holiday to give thanks, and be with family and friends. It is the Holiday for fabulous fall decor of which the color palette is amongst our favorite.  Changing of the seasons is magical, and in Mississippi we have been very lucky this year to have a perfect fall season radiating all the bright yellows, amber oranges, and burgundy reds.

Pearly Peacock Design was thrilled to be apart of the Fall issue of Delta Magazine.  Not only were we apart of the issue but our table scape made the cover.  Recognition for something you love to do is a wonderful feeling. We loved working with the Alias family. What a special place their cabin is in the Mississippi Delta.

Entertaining is an artwork.  We all have it in us and we ALL SHOULD USE THE SILVER.  Use your family heirlooms.  USE the china, USE the silver, USE the crystal and always add fresh flowers.  Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday to highlight all of these.  Not only use these heirlooms on special occasions, but use them ALL the time.  These pieces being used is a honor to the ones who used them before, and creates traditions for those who will use in the future. It is moments that always brings back memories of those we hold so dearly. So pull your precious pieces out of their display cases, storage, and closets and make the memories and share their stories.
